Thanksgiving Food Drive 2022 with Long Island Cares, Inc.

Competition INFINITI and Competition Automotive Group is proud to wholeheartedly support the Long Island community in every sector possible. For 2021, our holiday donations were focused on supporting EJ’s PJ’s and Angels of Long Island from November 2021 to December 15th, 2021. 

For the year of 2022, Competition INFINITI is honored to be accepting donations on behalf of Long Island Cares, Inc. for the Thanksgiving season of 2022.Long Island Cares, Inc. is a charitable food bank supporting Long Island. Their roots are heavily established, Long Island Cares, Inc. was Long Island’s first food bank, founded in 1980 by Harry Chapin. Long Island Cares, Inc. is 1 of almost 200 food banks across America! That is only about 4 food banks per state! Competition INFINITI humbly urges everyone to help support these important life-supporting and life-changing charity organizations.The goal of Long Island Cares, Inc. goes farther than improving food security, although that is the charity’s main vision and overall mission for Long Island. Long Island Cares, Inc. also strives to support programs that help families achieve self-sufficiency as well as to educate the Long Island community and general public about the causes and consequences of hunger on Long Island. Long Island Cares, Inc. calls upon a specific set of principles to help them achieve their goal:

Historically, Long Island Cares, Inc. began their quest by serving a small handful of hunger and food insecurity agencies in Nassau and Suffolk County. Today, they proudly distribute more than 10 million lbs of food and supplies to over 400 agencies in Nassau and Suffolk. Long Island Cares, Inc. has 5 satellite offices and a main office and warehouse in Hauppauge.  

We will be humbly accepting donations of non-perishable foods from the beginning of November until November, 17th 2022. Competition INFINITI of Smithtown is proud to support Long Island Cares, Inc.’s vision of “A Hunger Free Long Island”!
